Versioning

The /v1 path

Every Platform API route is under /v1 on the API host, for example /v1/orders. There is one version, v1; the API Reference and these guides describe it.

Protearc has not published a deprecation policy or a version header, and none exists in the API. Changes to v1 are recorded in the Changelog.

Model versions

Separately from the API path, results carry the version of the analysis model that read them. The changes route returns model with a name and a version, so you can see which model produced a reading:

model is null when no stored reading exists for the member yet.
